 | patUser has switched to PEAR::DB
Since we decided to stop our project patDbc and support PEAR:DB we started to
port patUser. Therefore we decided to branch at version 2.1.1. While 2.1.x still
support patDbc, branch 2.2.x (and above version) are based on PEAR:DB.

patUser - using PEAR::DB
This new version of patUser, based on PEAR::DB. Even if this version of patUser is no longer marked as beta, we cannot promise,
that it behaves exactly like version 2.1.x. On the other hand, this version works fine in my case - so it should work fine in your
case, too. Hopefully  .

patUser - based on patDbc
Of course patUser using patDbc is stil available for download. If you start a new project and like to use patUser, we will
recommend patUser with PEAR::DB (version 2.2.x and above).

patUser prior to v2.0
As patUser was completely reprogrammed with version 2.0 and is not downward compatible,
we decided to keep the last pre-2.0-version of patUser. If you need this version,
you may download it here:
