We have decided to stop the development of our database abstraction class, patDbc.
Due to the lack of time for the proper development of patDbc, we no longer develop
the tool. We encourage you to switch to one of the alternative solutions, which already
offer support of more databases and have extended functionality.

Alternatives to patDbc
We are currently switching our tools to PEAR::DB, so if you use our tools,
this is probably the best way to go. However, if you do not want to use
that database class, there are other alternatives like AdoDB or PEAR:MDB
(if you want higher abstraction), but we preferred the pear::db functionality and ease of use.
If you need patDbc
We still have in the latest version, v0.81 in store - so if you should
need it, you can get it here:
